OnePlus is said to be working on a competitor to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the OnePlus V Fold, a folding smartphone in book format. For the first time, we get a glimpse of its probable design.
After the Google Pixel Fold, and the Honor Magic Vs, OnePlus could in turn release a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Thanks to OnLeaks and Smartprix, the OnePlus V Fold's design has now been revealed for the first time.
These 3D renderings of the phone reveal a design very close to that of the OnePlus 11. In contrast to the brand's flagship, the camera block is positioned centrally.
Not a copy of the Oppo Find N2
As Smartprix points out, the OnePlus V Fold is not a confirmed copy of the Oppo Find N2, as rumors once suggested.
The back features faux leather, a triple camera module and the Hasselblad logo. Other finishes could be announced in glass or metal, as Smart Prix points out. OnePlus' trademark slider alert is also said to be part of the adventure. The fingerprint sensor appears to be positioned on the lock button.
Another small differentiating detail is that the selfie camera on the internal screen will be located at the top left of the screen. OnePlus would therefore dispense with an under-display camera.
According to SmartPrix, the OnePlus V Fold features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2, a 2K 120 Hz Amoled display, a 50 MP main sensor (IMX 890), an ultra-wide-angle module and a periscope. The proposed battery is rated at 4800 mAh, backed up by a 100 W charge.
